Welcome
My name is Julian Dickenson, and I’m passionate about the transformative power franchises have on the communities they serve.
I founded Quiet Bay to buy franchises that I can nurture and grow long-term.
If you’re a franchise owner considering your next steps, I’d love to learn more about you and your business.
About Me
Before founding Quiet Bay, I built a career at the intersection of finance, entrepreneurship, and leadership. I began as an actuary—and have been called the most outgoing actuary you will ever meet.
My drive for professional and personal growth led me to pursue an MBA at Stanford, a transformative experience that enhanced my strategic thinking and interpersonal abilities. After Stanford, I had the privilege of coaching and supporting entrepreneurs in buying and building great businesses. These experiences shaped the vision of Quiet Bay.
Growing up in Augusta, GA, I witnessed firsthand how business leadership can uplift entire communities. As a first-generation American to Antiguan immigrants, I learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and lifting others as I climb. Playing Division I soccer at Pitt further sharpened my grit and consistency–qualities that drive my professional journey.
In my free time, you can find me playing pick-up soccer, highlighting passages in a new book, catching up with old friends, or making new ones.
